Hello,

I am using BLAT.DLL to sent e-mails from my application. I have a
question: can this mail sending solution to save a copy of the sent
mail in the Sent Items folder? I would like to have a history on the
mail server of the sent mails.

Thank you.

All best,
Lucian I.

Well, Blat does not have a Sent Items folder...

If you want it to go in your mail client's Sent Items folder, Blat has
no way to know anything about your mail client. Which client, etc.

One thing you could do is send a copy to yourself, and use a rule to
move it to your Sent Items folder.

Blat also has a logging feature that may meet your requirements.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for your answer. I will explore the log file solution.

Thanks again.

I find the log file sufficient...I rename the old log file every time I have
a new blat project. Much better than having to deal with all that email in
my Outlook.

I do, of course, get the bounce messages in my Outlook...I use them to prune
out all the bad emails.

Obvious fix ...

Get blat to bcc a special email account for every mail. Done!

Cheers,
Wol

I solved my problem using one of the solution provided by you. I BCC the messages to the sender'a address and, there, I set up a filter that moves the message to the Sent Items folder.

Thank you!
